Key responsibilities & impact

Identify weaknesses and problem areas in the software application
Collaborate with development, operations, support, business partners, and other stakeholders to ensure timely collaboration and resolution
Identify use cases/scenarios and create, prioritize, and execute test cases
Generate reports for stakeholders
Track software bugs and investigate their causes
Prepare automation scripts
Troubleshoot automation software issues
Create test plans and test summary reports
Execute regression and exploratory testing as necessary
Perform functional and end-to-end testing
Maintain the automation suite
Create test data for automation
Submit Pull Requests
Understand software internals, debug problems, and automate repetitive tasks

Requirements

What you’ll need

Primary skills: BDD (Behavior Driven Development), Zephyr, Rest-Assured
Experience with Selenium using Java
Experience with Cucumber framework
Experience with automation frameworks integrating backend with RESTful APIs
Experience with Saucelabs, Flyway, Bitbucket, GitLab, Jenkins, and Maven
Ability to identify weaknesses and problem areas in software applications
Ability to work closely with development, operations, support, business partners, and other stakeholders
Ability to work independently under minimal guidance
Ability to identify use cases/scenarios, create and prioritize test cases, execute test cases, and generate stakeholder reports
Experience tracking software bugs and investigating causes
Experience preparing automation scripts
Experience troubleshooting automation software issues
Experience creating test plans and test summary reports
