About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Architect and develop scalable solutions on the Salesforce platform using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components (LWC)
- Implement and optimize Salesforce sharing and security models to ensure robust data integrity and regulatory compliance
- Configure and automate complex business processes with Salesforce Flow Automation, custom triggers, and SOQL queries
- Design and manage Salesforce data models, including schema optimization, relationships, and data migration strategies
- Develop and maintain Apex web services and asynchronous Apex processes for seamless integration with external systems
- Diagnose, debug, and resolve advanced technical issues across Salesforce applications and integrations, ensuring minimal downtime
- Partner with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, deliver tailored technical solutions, and drive platform adoption
- Lead code reviews, enforce development best practices, and mentor junior engineers to foster quality and innovation
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least 7 years of hands-on experience in Salesforce platform engineering, including up to 8 years in designing and implementing enterprise solutions
- Expert-level proficiency in Apex programming and Lightning Web Components (LWC)
- Advanced skills in Visualforce page development
- Strong expertise in Salesforce sharing and security model implementation
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce Flow Automation and SOQL
- Proven ability to develop Apex triggers, classes, web services, and asynchronous processes
- Deep knowledge of Salesforce schema design and data migration
- Experience with Salesforce integration patterns, including REST and SOAP APIs (preferred)
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools for Salesforce deployments (preferred)
- Exposure to Salesforce AppExchange solutions and third-party integrations (preferred)
- Understanding of advanced security and compliance frameworks specific to Salesforce environments (preferred)
- Knowledge of Salesforce DX and version control best practices (preferred)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related discipline (desired qualification)
- Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I (desired qualification)
- Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II (desired qualification)
