About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide customer service and account resolution to Brookdale customers and associates
  • Research and resolve billing errors, disputes, cash application, and other issues through regular customer account audits
  • Provide customers and business partners with accurate billing information while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Resolve account inquiries and escalate unsettled discrepancies
  • Assist in training associates on Accounts Receivable policies, procedures, and company platform functionality
  • Identify potential customer account issues by reviewing daily, weekly, and monthly reports and queries
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High school diploma or GED is required
  • Minimum of one year of customer service experience in a blended call center environment is required
  • Experience with a multi-channel product environment is preferred
  • Knowledge of general accounts receivable concepts and systems is required
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word, is required
  • Must be detail oriented, organized, and accurate
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • No certifications, licenses, or other special requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
  • Requires interaction with co-workers, residents, or vendors
