About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide strategic clinical oversight and support for day-to-day skilled nursing community operations
  • Support Executive Directors, Healthcare Administrators, Directors of Clinical Services, Skilled Interdisciplinary Teams, and district/regional leaders
  • Optimize resources to ensure quality care and service delivery, staff training and development, risk management, and regulatory compliance
  • Oversee regulatory compliance, survey preparedness, survey outcomes, Plans of Correction, and action plans
  • Complete internal and external investigations, including Integrity Line calls, complaint surveys, and serious family concerns
  • Oversee and train Directors and Clinical Services Specialists, HWDs/DCS, and other assigned disciplines
  • Educate, implement, and maintain corporate policies and procedures in accordance with state and federal regulations
  • Conduct regular quality audits through regional site visits and pre-survey audits
  • Provide clinical guidance to skilled associates regarding appropriateness of resident move-ins
  • Promote problem solving and use community resources to address skilled resident needs
  • Analyze skilled healthcare reports to track and trend outcomes and support process improvement efforts

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree (B.S.N.) from a four-year college or university preferred
  • Must have an RN license / be licensed as a registered nurse
  • Minimum of five to seven years related experience and/or training, most of which are in a geriatric field
  • Experience with the elderly required
  • Thorough understanding of aging issues related to health
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a private vehicle for business travel
  • CPR Certification required
  • Ability to make analytical decisions and solve complex, varied problems
  • Significant knowledge of an advanced discipline and related fields
  • Knowledge of the organization, work environment, and processes
  • Ability to direct multiple functions and/or departments with responsibility for operational results
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to interact with co-workers, residents, or vendors
