  • Review bank statements, investment statements, and related reconciliations for insurance pool financial assets
  • Prepare annual reporting requirements for applicable state regulatory bodies, NCCI, and ISO
  • Prepare or coordinate premium, state income, or federal income tax filings
  • Prepare bank reconciliations for the Trust Administrator
  • Develop annual budgets for pool programs
  • Monitor cash flow and ensure adequate operational funding
  • Oversee bank and investment reconciliations
  • Support cash receipt and disbursement processes with strong internal controls
  • Propose contract terms for auditors
  • Coordinate audit fieldwork and report presentations with external auditors
  • Direct and supervise pool accounting staff across multiple locations and programs
  • Manage staff interactions and relationships between accounting, other departments, and outside entities

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Certified Public Accountant
  • Bachelor of Business Administration
  • 5–8 years’ experience in a similar position managing multiple entities or audit engagements
