About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with assigned clients, acting as their trusted advisor
  • Manage a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts, including renewals, endorsements, and policy changes
  • Assess client needs and recommend appropriate insurance products and services
  • Prepare and present insurance proposals, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness
  • Collaborate with underwriters and other internal teams to secure optimal coverage for clients
  • Conduct regular account reviews to ensure client satisfaction and identify potential cross-selling opportunities
  • Resolve client inquiries and issues promptly and professionally
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities
  • Participate in professional development activities to enhance insurance knowledge and skills
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in the agency management system

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field
  • Minimum of 1-5 years of experience in high-net worth personal lines/private client insurance account management or a similar client-facing role
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Experience with agency management systems (e.g., Applied Epic, AMS360) is a plus
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Commitment to providing exceptional client service
