About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide high-quality customer service while assisting in coordinating services between clients and insurance companies
- Provide clerical support in conjunction with Account Managers, Account Executives, and Producers
- Prepare, process, review, and monitor certificates, Auto ID cards, binders, insurance summaries, audits, endorsements, renewal requests, specifications, and proposals
- Ensure policies follow quoted, proposed, and bound coverages
- Collect client specification data
- Respond to routine requests from clients, underwriters, and internal staff
- Set up new clients and maintain client records in agency management systems
- Upload documents, track open items, complete premium finance requests, and create premium allocations
- Request and summarize loss runs; process claims and provide client advocacy
- Monitor electronic downloads and retrieve policy documents from carrier websites when needed
- Check policies and process cancellations, non-pay notices, reinstatements, letters, and policy information entries
- Maintain current email and task queues
- Follow agency guidelines, policies, and procedures
- Attend continuing education classes and pursue personal and professional development
Requirements
What you’ll need- High school diploma
- Proficient with MS Office Suite
- Microsoft Excel – Strong to expert level skills
- Exceptional telephone demeanor
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Insurance Producer license in good standing (authorities in states needed to service the assigned book of business) (preferred)
- Bachelor’s Degree (Preferred)
