Claims Specialist, Bilingual – Spanish

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide daily inbound and outbound communication coverage via phone, email, and other channels
- Manage customer and retailer inquiries and follow-up throughout claim processes
- Determine coverage, send inspection packets, authorize technicians, order parts, recommend exchanges, administer settlements, and collect complaints
- Review and monitor open claims and proactively follow up to facilitate claim closure
- Provide timely actions and responses to retailers, customers, and manufacturers
- Receive and review Inspection Packets and determine warranty replacement or denial
- Offer and facilitate Service Solutions for consumers whose issues are out-of-warranty or not covered by a protection plan
- Understand the retailer portal and provide claims guidance
- Process technician calls, document updates, and perform required follow-up
- Support or perform Intake Specialist functions when required
Requirements
What you’ll need- Demonstrated proficiency in the Intake process for a minimum of 6 months
- Successful understanding and completion of Existing training
- Ability to execute functions necessary for processing existing claims
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- Computer and keyboard proficiency
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Basic math skills
- Proficiency at call handling and utilizing “soft skill” techniques
- Teamwork Orientation
- Bilingual Spanish capability indicated by the job title
