About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as the primary service contact for the client
  • Act as the liaison with carriers
  • Handle day-to-day servicing for assigned accounts
  • Establish relationships with clients and carriers
  • Serve as the main contact for insureds and carriers
  • Provide backup for assigned producer(s)
  • Maintain expiration spreadsheet for assigned accounts
  • Complete required reports as requested by Leadership
  • Handle, assign, and oversee day-to-day account service functions
  • Assist other team members as needed
  • Handle new business, including marketing
  • Handle renewals, including marketing
  • Use carrier online rating systems as needed
  • Review and update activities daily as needed
  • Address urgent items by phone
  • Invoice and process endorsements; update activities accordingly

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Must hold a property and casualty insurance license
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the insurance industry
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
