About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform risk analysis studies, including underwriting information and coverage placement, loss forecasting and analysis, to promote protection of organizational assets and assist in loss reduction
- Pull and analyze claims data to guide renewal discussions
- Review the accuracy of policies, changes/endorsements, audits, and other documents and assist with delivery to clients
- Assist clients and carriers with day-to-day requests for policies, endorsements, audits, certificates, auto ID cards, accounting/billing, and claims/loss control coordination
- Collaborate with Client Executive and/or Client Manager in marketing processes, including applications, submissions, proposals, presentations, and service plans
- Attend required training sessions and courses
- Attend and conduct carrier meetings/functions as requested
- Maintain confidentiality and follow company policies and procedures
- Work closely with senior account executives, brokers, and clients on insurance brokerage activities
- Provide brokerage support and risk analysis while developing client relationships
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree
- Risk Management, Finance, Accounting and/or Marketing degree preferred, but not required
- 1 to 3 years of experience in commercial insurance
- Working knowledge of business office practices and procedures
- Ability to establish work priorities and manage time effectively
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Able to accept responsibility and stay focused under pressure
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Attend required training sessions and courses to maintain up-to-date skills and licensing requirements
