About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead and oversee servicing of financial consulting needs for employee benefit clients
  • Provide financial, industry trend, and strategic insights to retain clients and guide impactful benefit changes
  • Evaluate financial and utilization metrics, including monthly financial reports, utilization metrics, and benchmarks
  • Assist in negotiating renewal proposals
  • Prepare and recommend plan changes and alternative funding recommendations
  • Oversee monthly financial reports
  • Develop reporting requirements and customizations
  • Support Benefit Consultants in preparing meeting requests, including coverages and contracts
  • Participate in prospective client finalist presentations representing Brown & Brown’s financial strategy
  • Perform demographic analysis, claims reviews, and other projects for prospective clients
  • Participate in client presentations and meetings
  • Perform Senior Analyst tasks and miscellaneous duties and projects

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking ability from industry experience
  • Ability to work independently and exercise judgment
  • Strong knowledge of relationships with vendors
  • Microsoft Excel – strong expert-level skills
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • 3 to 5 years of related experience
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
