About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage and retain a book of personal lines clients while identifying growth opportunities
  • Deliver timely client support through phone, email, and multiple communication platforms
  • Communicate proactively with clients, underwriters, and carriers
  • Analyze loss exposures and determine coverage needs
  • Prepare proposals and present recommendations to clients
  • Generate new business through cross-selling and account rounding
  • Assist with coverage changes, billing issues, and day-to-day questions
  • Complete policies, underwriting specifications, documentation, and analysis
  • Review policies, endorsements, renewals, and audits for accuracy and completeness
  • Issue certificates of insurance, binders, and other policy documents
  • Develop marketing plans and proposals
  • Liaise between clients and carriers
  • Maintain relationships with insurance carriers and vendors
  • Facilitate team meetings and strategy sessions
  • Maintain accurate records in agency management systems
  • Mentor junior team members and lead by example
  • Maintain current industry, licensing, product, and regulatory knowledge

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Arizona and relevant non-resident P&C licenses
  • CISR, CIC, and/or CPRIA required
  • Minimum of 5 years of personal lines insurance experience (or a combination of education and experience)
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, or a related field preferred
  • In-depth understanding of personal insurance products and terminology
  • Experience with AMS360 or ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite
  • Exceptional telephone demeanor
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Professional office environment experience
