About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Receive and review brokerage policies from carriers and verify required information
- Prepare policies for delivery to retail agents by applying required stamps and correspondence
- Independently handle policy issuance, policy logs, and responsibility of policies to the company
- Review binding policies in policy files and deliver them to agents
- Assist with mail transmittal to companies or producers as required
- Pull suspense as needed and keep them current and in good order
- Issue and distribute certificates, forms, and other materials with guidance from the Account Executive or Account Executive Assistant
- Communicate with producers on basic issues using form letters to secure required documentation
- Refer matters to the Department Manager or Account Executive when additional counsel is required
- Perform related duties such as filing, photocopying, imaging, and collating
Requirements
What you’ll need- 2 years’ experience as a Processor or comparable position
- Ability to learn multiple computer systems for processing information
- Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism
- Attention to detail
- Communication with Account Executives and assistants
- Familiarity with Outlook, PIPS, and Word Processing
- Ability to handle policy processing accurately and efficiently
