About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Coordinate, communicate, and manage efficient routing and driver assignments
Make critical decisions while servicing internal and external customers efficiently and composedly
Monitor customers’ inventory levels using Lifeline
Coordinate loads to ensure timely deliveries and efficient/effective routing
Ensure Drivers have accurate and timely delivery data, including tank sizes, directions, loading numbers, and special equipment requirements
Provide on-demand assistance to drivers as needed
Send detailed end-of-shift emails to dispatch personnel to ensure smooth shift transitions
Communicate with customers when issues arise and keep them updated
Enter orders into CSI. Road software
Coordinate and collaborate with customers and team members to schedule the BRT Driving Team efficiently
Monitor communications for status updates and load changes and take appropriate action
Provide timely updates to customers, Dispatch, and Drivers via phone, email, or apps
Respond promptly and courteously to incoming communications

Requirements

What you’ll need

Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Active listener with good conflict-resolution skills
Excellent critical thinking skills leading to good independent decision-making
Must be detail-oriented and have good time-management skills
Basic computer knowledge and skills
Proficient typing skills
Experience in Transportation or Logistics
Knowledge of DOT Regulations
Customer Service Experience – Enjoy serving others and bringing a smile to their face
Must be within common commuting distance of Parkesburg, PA Home Office
