About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Instruct assigned courses within the designated program
  • Host weekly live sessions via Zoom in each course
  • Maintain a flexible schedule for office hours and one-to-one meetings
  • Provide timely information and feedback on quizzes, tests, homework, and projects
  • Conduct outreach to increase engagement with at-risk students
  • Maintain accurate student academic and attendance records
  • Submit final grades according to university policy
  • Participate in meetings, training programs, and required professional development
  • Remain current with developments in the instructional area
  • Perform other duties required by the faculty job description, SOPs, and university policies

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Associate degree in a health-related field preferred
  • PTCB Certification required
  • 3+ years pharmacy technician experience
  • Sterile compounding experience is a plus
  • Previous experience teaching online is preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills in individual and group settings
  • Ability to work effectively as a team member
  • Ability to work in a virtual environment using multiple software programs simultaneously, including MS Office, Canvas, Cvue, Gmail, and Zoom
