About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Shape the look and feel of self-paced digital learning
- Design polished, user-centered e-learning visuals and layouts using UI/UX principles and Adobe Creative Suite
- Visualize complex concepts and develop visual storyboards
- Delegate to and oversee learning experience designers and animators
- Storyboard and produce video content
- Present work and communicate directly with clients
- Incorporate client feedback and guide clients toward suitable solutions
- Deliver visual designs and layouts, visual storyboards, video and animation storyboards, produced video content, and client presentations
Requirements
What you’ll need- 1–2 years as an Art Director or similar role
- At least 1 year working directly with clients
- Experience using AI tools
- Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator
- Solid foundation in UI/UX design principles
- Experience designing e-learning media
- Ability to turn complex concepts into clear, memorable visuals
- Experience planning visual and video experiences frame by frame
- Experience storyboarding and producing video content
- Ability to delegate to and oversee learning experience designers and animators
- Ability to work in cross-functional teams
- Detail-oriented, quick learner, and organized
- Candidates must reside within Ontario or British Columbia
- Portfolio must include e-learning design samples, at least one fully developed e-learning course, animation or video work, and an example of resolving a project challenge
