About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Turn client needs into creative, pedagogically sound self-paced digital experiences
- Apply learning design science, principles, methodologies, and digital learning best practices
- Write client-facing presentations and communications, digital experience copy, and audio/video scripts
- Collaborate with the visual design team to develop creative learning solutions
- Help clients uncover needs and validate solutions
- Participate in discovery with client stakeholders and subject matter experts
- Lead working sessions and feedback cycles
- Use generative AI tools strategically and intentionally
- Produce design documents, client presentations, digital copy and scripts
- Collaborate with visual design
Requirements
What you’ll need- Candidates must reside within Ontario or British Columbia, Canada
- 1–2 years as a Learning Experience Designer or similar role (for example, Instructional Designer)
- Understanding of UX/UI principles
- Experience designing digital, self-paced experiences
- Strong understanding of different learning deliveries and modalities
- At least 1 year working directly with clients
- Knowledge of modern-day authoring tools
- Experience using AI tools
- First-hand experience with industry-standard authoring tools (Articulate Storyline, Rise) (nice to have)
- Experience building digital content (nice to have)
- Experience with, or exposure to, vibe-coding tools (nice to have)
