About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Ensure excellent operation of Budderfly HVAC units in the Dallas, Texas area
- Maintain and repair heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems and equipment
- Identify maintenance risks on HVAC/R equipment
- Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults
- Complete HVAC unit commissioning checks, including RTU controller configurations and mechanical operation
- Change filters, clean coils, inspect/replace belts, and inspect units for mechanical failures
- Respond to emergency service calls on nights and weekends when on-call
- Clean, adjust, and repair systems and perform warranty services
- Perform emergency repairs promptly and efficiently
- Maintain daily logs and records in the company work order system
- Ensure compliance with applicable state and federal standards and the Occupational Health and Safety Act
- Follow service standards, work instructions, and customer requirements
- Assist with customer queries
Requirements
What you’ll need- Trade School Graduate
- Some HVAC field experience
- HVAC Controls experience
- Familiarity with Lennox Core Controllers and Carrier SystemVu controllers is a benefit
- Ability to recognize control and mechanical issues before they compound
- Desire for continuous technical and professional learning
- Desire to grow professionally beyond being “just a filter changer”
- Customer- and safety-focused
- Ability to travel within the region and surrounding states
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Ability to work across/with organizational teams
