About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Gather, analyse and document business requirements to support retention initiatives and strategic change
- Facilitate workshops and discussions with stakeholders to understand business needs, processes and opportunities for improvement
- Develop business cases, estimates and benefits assessments to support investment decisions and prioritisation
- Translate customer, commercial and operational requirements into clear, traceable deliverables
- Work closely with delivery, technology and business teams to support implementation and successful change outcomes
- Identify opportunities to improve customer experiences, reduce costs and increase operational effectiveness
- Build trusted relationships with stakeholders across the business and influence decisions through evidence and insight
- Work within Bupa’s Retention Squad to improve customer retention and support
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven experience as a Business Analyst within a change, transformation, project or product environment
- Experience gathering and documenting business requirements through workshops, interviews and stakeholder engagement
- Experience working with business requirements throughout the full change lifecycle, from discovery through to implementation
- Strong business case development, benefits analysis and requirements-management skills
- Knowledge of Agile, Waterfall or hybrid delivery methodologies
- Excellent stakeholder-management and influencing skills
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capability
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels of the organisation
- Experience working within a regulated environment, particularly FCA or CQC-regulated businesses (desirable)
- Experience within retention, customer journey, insurance, healthcare or consumer services environments (desirable)
- Knowledge of business process mapping, use cases, testing scripts and process design (desirable)
- Business Analysis qualifications such as BCS, AgileBA or equivalent (desirable)
- Strong commercial awareness and ability to connect business requirements to measurable outcomes
- Confidence challenging constructively and influencing decision-making
- Excellent organisation and prioritisation skills, with ability to manage multiple initiatives
- Logical and structured approach to solving complex problems
- Curiosity, resilience and continuous-improvement mindset
- Ability to build strong relationships and work collaboratively across functions
