About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Define and own the vision, roadmap, and backlog for data products across Commercial and Clinical & Operational domains
  • Collaborate with Data Business Partners and stakeholders to translate business priorities into actionable data solutions
  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of dashboards, reports, and data models alongside analysts and data engineers
  • Ensure data products are governed, documented, and aligned to data quality and compliance standards
  • Monitor product performance, adoption, and impact, driving continuous improvement through feedback and analytics
  • Champion user-centred design principles to create intuitive and valuable data products
  • Manage and develop a small team of analysts, providing coaching and direction to support successful delivery
  • Act as the bridge between business and technical teams, ensuring alignment on priorities, objectives, and timelines
  • Support adoption and engagement through training, communication, and change management activities

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Strong understanding of data modelling, data governance, and data lifecycle management
  • Experience defining product roadmaps, backlogs, and user stories
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, analysts, and engineers
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Experience working within Agile delivery environments and tools such as Azure DevOps or Jira
  • Experience leading, mentoring, or coaching team members
  • Knowledge of data visualisation tools such as Power BI or Tableau
  • Previous experience in Product Ownership or Product Management within Data, Analytics, or Business Intelligence environments
  • Experience within healthcare, clinical, or operational settings
  • Familiarity with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake
  • Relevant certifications such as Certified Scrum Product Owner, BCS Data Management, or equivalent
