About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as a primary point of contact for day-to-day India office operations, employee needs, vendors, and workplace questions
- Support the setup, opening, and ongoing operation of BusPatrol’s India office, including supplies, access, facilities coordination, vendor follow-up, and workplace readiness
- Establish office processes, documentation, local resources, workplace norms, and escalation paths
- Coordinate with building management, office vendors, IT, and internal stakeholders to resolve workplace issues
- Support office events, employee gatherings, onsite meetings, and engagement activities
- Coordinate India new hire readiness from offer acceptance through the first weeks of employment
- Coordinate equipment, accounts, system access, device delivery or handoff, and technical setup needs
- Serve as a local point of contact for basic IT troubleshooting and issue coordination
- Confirm People, payroll, access, equipment, and onboarding steps are complete before new hires start
- Coordinate onboarding handoffs across Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, People Operations, Finance, IT, and hiring managers
- Support India company policies, documentation, compliance preparation, and retention practices
- Maintain accurate worker, position, location, onboarding, office, equipment, and access data
- Generate worker, headcount, and specialized reports
- Draft employee communications, reminders, how-to content, and operational updates
- Maintain India People resource hubs, FAQs, onboarding materials, and self-service resources
- Track questions, recurring issues, process gaps, and improvement opportunities
- Contribute to AI-forward documentation, process improvement, and employee support while protecting sensitive People information
- Coordinate across India- and U.S.-based teams and support regional standard work, checklists, and process documentation
- Report to the Director, People Operations; no direct reports
Requirements
What you’ll need- 4–6 years of experience in People Operations, HR Operations, workplace operations, office management, recruiting coordination, or a related role
- Experience supporting employees, office operations, onboarding, HR processes, or administrative workflows in a high-growth or multi-location environment
- Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and stakeholders with strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Experience partnering with IT or another technical support function to coordinate equipment, systems access, troubleshooting, or employee setup is strongly preferred
- Familiarity with India workplace operations, local employment practices, or regional vendor coordination is preferred
- Comfort working with HRIS, ticketing systems, collaboration tools, spreadsheets, and basic reporting processes
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and escalate sensitive matters appropriately
- Ability to operate independently in a growing organization while collaborating with global teams
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Monday–Friday standard business hours, with flexibility to support key U.S. time zone alignment calls and time-sensitive onboarding or IT needs
- Location: Hyderabad, Telangana, India
