About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Define the strategy and roadmap for Asset Health across BusPatrol’s hardware portfolio
Drive reliability, availability, lifecycle management, and behavior-change objectives
Define and own key performance indicators such as MTTR, failure rates, uptime, and alert precision/recall
Conduct impact sizing, opportunity assessment, and Fermi-style estimation
Establish feedback loops with internal users and customers
Partner with Hardware, Firmware, and Data teams on telemetry and predictive diagnostics
Define health indicators and thresholds for asset monitoring
Build or enhance internal tools, dashboards, alerts, and workflows for Support and Operations
Improve detection, triage, root-cause analysis, and automated remediation of asset issues
Design pilots, phased rollouts, proxy metrics, and structured experiments in a regulated B2G environment
Collaborate with government partners and school districts within legal and contractual frameworks
Coordinate cross-functional teams spanning Product, Hardware, Firmware, Data, Operations, Support, software, and human processes
Communicate roadmaps and trade-offs to executives and external partners
Ensure privacy, retention, evidentiary, transparency, auditability, and compliance requirements are met

Requirements

What you’ll need

7+ years in product management, with experience in predictive maintenance, asset monitoring, or similar, especially in B2G
Experience working with hardware + software products, including cameras, sensors, IoT devices, edge computing, or telematics
Strong analytical skills, including proxy metrics, impact sizing, and experimentation
Ability to navigate ambiguity and regulatory complexity
Exceptional communication skills for executive and government audiences
Experience in automated traffic enforcement or fleet safety is a strong plus
Proven ability to lead cross-functional strategic initiatives with senior executives
Proven experience leading high impact teams across time zones
Strong data science and analytical skills with experience in sizing, Fermi style estimation, impact analysis, metrics, experiments, and measurement
Comfortable with ambiguity and developing clear and concise priorities and roadmaps
Demonstrated track record of leading cross-functional initiatives involving senior executives and multiple stakeholder groups
Experience collaborating with distributed teams across time zones; comfortable working remotely from India while partnering closely with North American counterparts
