About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist the Clinical Supervisor in leading the ABA Therapy Department at the assigned center
- Enforce ABA Therapy standards and maintain quality of care
- Monitor and supervise clinical procedures and advancement of skills within BCBA and BT/RBT teams
- Educate ABA staff on effective, professional, and ethical behavioral analysis
- Confirm completed soap notes and accurate scheduling records
- Assist with quarterly audits of BCBA and R/BT documentation
- Participate in staff, family, and management meetings as a clinical liaison
- Facilitate BCBA, R/BT, and team meetings
- Review caseloads and client progress
- Create and distribute learning materials for staff development
- Provide mentorship, guidance, and feedback to staff
- Assist with R/BT interviews, onboarding, and orientation of new BCBAs
- Support RBT training, log audits, competency assessments, and BCBA/RBT pairings
- Conduct initial evaluations and process potential therapy clients
- Recommend therapy hours to the Center Director
- Collaborate with Behavior Technicians, Speech Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, and Operations
- Provide targeted direct therapy, treatment planning, consultations, and coaching
- Complete and ensure quality of pre-authorizations, initial evaluations, assessments, insurance reports, and progress reports
- Supervise the center ABA Therapy Team with the Center Director
- Work in professional and clinical environments and respond to client safety or emergency situations
Requirements
What you’ll need- Master’s Degree required in relevant field from an accredited University
- National Certification by Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
- Active State Licensure (as applicable)
- Must be a BACB Board Certified Behavioral Analyst
- Minimum of two (2) year experience as a BCBA (preferred)
- Completion of eight (8) hour online, competency-based training module on BACB experience standards
- CPR/First Aid Certified preferred or will train on site
- Safety Care/QBS trained preferred or will train on site
- Familiarity with relevant diagnostic tools and procedures
- Ability to lead a team and supervise therapists
- Ability to maintain quality, safety and infection control standards
- Strong communication skills with clients, families, and team members
- Ability to respond quickly, calmly, and safely to challenging behaviors and emergency situations
- Ability to interpret and respond to technical instructions and inquiries/complaints
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Knowledge of sensory and behavioral strategies
- Excellent time management and multitasking skills
- Reliable transportation required
- Physical ability to lift, move, kneel, bend, squat, crouch, twist, walk, sit, stand and reach for prolonged periods
