About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Evaluate clients to determine appropriate programming, frequency, and therapy plans.
- Create and maintain comprehensive therapy plans covering long-range goals, short-range objectives, activities, and progress evaluation.
- Implement ABA therapy plans and collect accurate, reliable data.
- Evaluate and prepare reports required by insurance parties and requested by parents/guardians.
- Arrange parent meetings and provide family communication and training.
- Maintain a minimum of 10% direct supervision and 10% indirect supervision per week for each client.
- Provide assigned targeted caseload hours of direct therapy.
- Maintain timely professional documentation of clinical notes for direct patient care.
- Complete documentation for pre-authorizations, initial evaluations, assessments, insurance reports, and progress reports.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to address clients’ behavioral and skill acquisition needs.
- Consult with and train family members and staff.
Requirements
What you’ll need- National Certification by Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
- Master’s Degree required in relevant field from an accredited University.
- Completion of eight (8) hour online, competency-based training module on BACB experience standards preferred.
- Familiarity with relevant diagnostic tools and procedures.
- Knowledge of sensory and behavioral strategies.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multi-task, prioritize, execute on deadlines.
- Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
