About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Conduct initial evaluations to determine appropriate programming, frequency, and therapy plans
  • Maintain comprehensive therapy plans for each client, including long-range goals, short-range objectives, activities, and progress evaluations
  • Evaluate and prepare required reports for insurance parties at parents’ or guardians’ request
  • Arrange parent meetings for family communication and training
  • Maintain at least 10% direct supervision and 10% indirect supervision per week for each client
  • Provide assigned targeted caseload hours per week of direct therapy
  • Maintain timely professional documentation of clinical notes for direct patient care
  • Complete documentation for pre-authorizations, initial evaluations, assessments, insurance reports, and progress reports
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to address clients’ behavioral and skill acquisition needs
  • Collect and analyze data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • Consult with and train families and staff

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • National Certification by Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
  • Master’s degree required in a relevant field from an accredited university
  • Completion of an eight-hour online, competency-based training module on BACB experience standards preferred
  • Familiarity with relevant diagnostic tools and procedures
  • Knowledge of sensory and behavioral strategies
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and execute on deadlines
  • Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.
  • Employer cannot sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa
