About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Maintain accurate, efficient communication and documentation with parents and clinical staff
- Provide day-to-day supervision of Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) at assigned centers
- Promote fair and consistent employment practices and support high-quality service delivery
- Manage center maintenance, operational readiness, organization, and supply management
- Conduct daily walk-throughs to identify and address safety, cleanliness, maintenance, and operational concerns
- Coordinate cleaning tasks, restocking, vendors, and work orders
- Manage supply inventory, center budgets, and purchase orders
- Complete opening and closing procedures and adjust schedules for weather or operational demands
- Participate in leadership and team meetings
- Complete professional development and compliance training
- Achieve assigned KPIs for RBT retention/turnover, RBT utilization, session conversions, and center supplies budget
- Serve as primary point of contact for clients, families, and visitors while complying with HIPAA
- Conduct center tours for prospective clients/caregivers
- Communicate with caregivers regarding day-of client matters and escalate concerns to the Center Director
- Conduct emergency and safety procedures training for new employees
- Supervise, coach, and support RBT team members regarding operational expectations, policies, performance, and professionalism
- Assist with interviews and selection of prospective RBT candidates
- Conduct performance reviews and corrective action in collaboration with center leadership
- Lead scorecard and reliability notifications
- Conduct training compliance reviews and conversion audits
- Maintain operational files and complete routine records audits
- Assist with client hygiene needs, including diaper changes, as needed
- Uphold company principles, policies, procedures, health and safety standards, and code of conduct
- Obtain and maintain active RBT certification through the BACB
- Conduct onboarding check-ins and facilitate, track, and monitor RBT certification and supervision requirements
- Facilitate New Hire RBT Training and conduct Competency Assessments
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent, required
- Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
- 2+ years overseeing daily operations
- 2+ years providing excellent customer services
- Ability to maintain quality, safety, and infection control standards
- Strong communication skills with clients, families, and team members across departments
- Ability to respond quickly, calmly, and safely to emergency or stressful situations
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (e.g., Teams, Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Excellent time management and organizational skills; ability to multitask, prioritize, meet deadlines, and maintain attention to detail
- Professional communication, timeliness, and preparation
- Reliable transportation required for travel to and from work and between therapy environments
- Ability to lift, pull, push, and/or move up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Ability to move quickly and kneel, bend, squat, crouch, twist, walk, sit, stand, and reach for extended periods
- Ability to respond quickly during client elopement or other emergencies
