About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the day-to-day operations of the Talent Acquisition function
  • Deliver effective recruiting strategies and exceptional hiring manager support across the organization
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Talent Acquisition Specialists responsible for full-cycle recruiting
  • Provide day-to-day guidance, prioritization, and support to meet hiring goals and service expectations
  • Establish performance expectations and provide coaching, development, and feedback
  • Foster a collaborative, customer-focused culture centered on accountability and continuous improvement
  • Lead Talent Acquisition workflows, policies, and recruiting processes
  • Partner with HR Operations, HRIS, Compensation, and other teams to support business needs
  • Improve efficiency, streamline workflows, reduce cycle times, and enhance candidate and hiring manager experiences
  • Ensure recruiting practices comply with legal, regulatory, and organizational requirements
  • Drive adoption and utilization of recruiting technologies and process enhancements
  • Liaise with HRIS regarding recruiting technology, system enhancements, integrations, process improvements, and reporting
  • Develop, maintain, and interpret recruiting dashboards and performance metrics
  • Monitor and analyze time-to-fill, source effectiveness, pipeline conversion, experience, recruiter productivity, and quality-of-hire indicators
  • Use labor market data, compensation benchmarks, and industry trends to provide insights and recommendations
  • Translate recruiting metrics and market intelligence into business insights
  • Support workforce planning and talent discussions through data-informed recommendations
  • Manage relationships with Talent Acquisition vendors, agency partners, staffing firms, and recruiting technology providers
  • Manage vendor performance, service delivery, contract renewals, compliance, spend effectiveness, and partnerships
  • Act as business owner for HireVue, HiredScore, Appcast, and other talent acquisition solutions
  • Build partnerships with leaders, hiring managers, and executive stakeholders
  • Consult on talent market conditions, recruiting strategies, workforce needs, and hiring approaches
  • Facilitate intake meetings, hiring discussions, talent reviews, and recruiting strategy sessions
  • Guide leaders on legally compliant interviewing, selection, and candidate assessment practices
  • Lead or support recruiting for executive, confidential, specialized, or business-critical positions
  • Step into full-cycle recruiting and independently manage requisitions during elevated demand or other business needs
  • Support sourcing strategies, candidate engagement plans, enterprise talent initiatives, succession planning, and special projects
  • Reports to the Senior Director, HR / Talent Management

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Five or more years of progressive Talent Acquisition experience
  • Prior experience leading, coaching, or mentoring recruiters, talent acquisition specialists, or recruiting teams
  • Strong understanding of recruiting operations, workforce planning, recruiting technology, and talent acquisition best practices
  • Experience developing and interpreting recruiting metrics, dashboards, and reporting
  • Strong business acumen and ability to translate recruiting data into actionable recommendations
  • Experience partnering with leaders across multiple organizational levels
  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and influence decisions in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Preferred: Experience with Workday Recruiting or other enterprise applicant tracking systems
  • Preferred: Experience supporting recruiting technology platforms such as HiredScore, HireVue, Appcast, talent intelligence tools, or comparable solutions
  • Preferred: Experience managing external recruiting vendors and strategic partnerships
  • Preferred: Experience utilizing labor market intelligence, compensation benchmarks, and competitive talent data to inform hiring strategies
  • Preferred: Telecommunications, technology, utilities, consumer services, or multi-location operational recruiting experience
  • Preferred: SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR, AIRS, or related professional certification
  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Leadership, or related field
