About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Define and drive the digital core application strategy and roadmap aligned with business priorities
  • Advise senior leadership on technology capabilities and transformation opportunities
  • Lead transition from legacy systems to modern, integrated, cloud-based platforms
  • Own and manage the end-to-end lifecycle of core applications including ERP, CRM, SCM, and HRM
  • Rationalize and optimize the application landscape to reduce complexity and total cost of ownership
  • Ensure systems are fit-for-purpose, standardized, and scalable across regions and business units
  • Lead major digital transformation programs
  • Ensure delivery excellence through program governance, risk management, and change management
  • Drive agile and product-based operating models for continuous improvement
  • Ensure high availability, reliability, and performance of core applications
  • Oversee application support models involving internal teams and external partners
  • Define and monitor KPIs and SLAs for service delivery and user satisfaction
  • Ensure seamless system integration and end-to-end process consistency
  • Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture on scalable and secure architecture
  • Support data integrity and data-driven decision-making
  • Manage strategic relationships with internal and external customers and system integrators
  • Drive continuous value realization, adoption, and alignment with senior global stakeholders
  • Build and lead a global team of application experts, product owners, and delivery leads
  • Develop talent, capabilities, and succession pipelines
  • Foster innovation, accountability, and collaboration
  • Enable cross-functional planning, prioritization, and delivery across the Digital workforce
  • Report to the CDIO and participate in the Digital leadership team

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in information technology, Engineering, Business, or related field
  • 10–15+ years of experience in applications and digital transformation
  • Proven leadership in managing large-scale ERP/HRIS transformations
  • Strong understanding of business processes across Finance, HR, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing
  • Experience leading global, cross-functional teams
  • Strong expertise in cloud technologies, integrations, and modern application architectures
  • Demonstrated ability to operate at executive level and influence senior stakeholders
  • Experience with outsourcing and vendor management models
  • Visionary mindset with ability to translate strategy into execution
  • Strong decision-making and prioritization skills
  • Deep understanding of end-to-end business processes
  • Strong program and project management capabilities
  • Results-driven focus on delivery and impact
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to navigate complex, matrixed organizations
  • Demonstrated knowledge in magic quadrants (SAP, ORACLE, JDE, WD, Salesforce)
