About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Ensure the application of software engineering standards, best practices, and principles in the development of data solutions
- Design and implement scalable, resilient, and sustainable solutions for data processing, storage, and delivery
- Investigate and resolve incidents and critical troubleshooting scenarios
- Develop and evolve robust, reliable data pipelines designed to handle different failure scenarios
- Support the definition and evolution of the team’s technical roadmap
- Contribute to decisions related to data architecture and the adoption of technologies and technical standards
- Optimize the cost, performance, and efficiency of data solutions
- Ensure the adoption of data security, observability, monitoring, and governance practices
- Mentor team members, promoting knowledge sharing and technical development
- Collaborate with different teams and stakeholders to identify needs and build data solutions
- Drive continuous improvements in data engineering processes, tools, and standards
