About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Build and evolve data pipelines and solutions, from ingestion and processing through modeling and delivery to the business
  • Refine and document prioritized initiatives with business teams by gathering requirements, needs, and dependencies
  • Develop and maintain data pipelines using ETL/ELT strategies
  • Build and evolve the data platform across the Raw, Trusted, and Refined layers, ensuring quality, reliability, and scalability
  • Model tables and data structures based on business rules, structuring the semantic layer for analytical and strategic consumption
  • Create and evolve storage and processing solutions across Data Lake/Lakehouse architectures, relational databases, and non-relational databases
  • Develop integrations between processed data and external tools or applications, such as Google Apps Script
  • Create, prototype, and validate dashboards and visualization solutions in partnership with business teams
  • Work with analysts and stakeholders to translate business needs into efficient and sustainable data solutions
  • Collaborate in alignment sessions, meetings, and ceremonies with clients and business teams
  • Explore new technologies and contribute to initiatives involving Artificial Intelligence applied to data

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Solid experience in Data Engineering
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and Python
  • Experience with Data Engineering in cloud environments, preferably GCP (Google Cloud Platform)
  • Hands-on experience with BigQuery, Cloud Storage, and Cloud Functions
  • Knowledge of Cloud Run, Artifact Registry, Docker, Dockerfiles, and CI/CD
  • Experience building and maintaining data pipelines, with knowledge of the medallion architecture (Raw, Trusted, and Refined)
  • Knowledge of Data Lake/Lakehouse, data modeling, and best practices for storage, processing, and loading
  • Experience with data workflow orchestration tools such as Airflow, Luigi, Kubeflow, or similar platforms
  • Experience with agile methodologies and task management tools, preferably Jira
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
  • Curiosity, adaptability, and an interest in new technologies, with availability to work on initiatives related to Artificial Intelligence
  • Preferred: experience with data visualization tools and dashboard development
  • Preferred: experience integrating data platforms with external applications
  • Preferred: experience working on projects involving Artificial Intelligence applied to data
