About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Join Cadence’s Customer Support Team’s New College Graduate Rotational Program
  • Work with best-in-class EDA tools
  • Collaborate with technical experts and support the sales team
  • Provide front-line design services, technical sales, and customer support to Cadence customers
  • Work with Cadence account teams to develop innovative solutions for challenging technical problems
  • Complete a cohort-based one-year program with two six-month rotations and detailed, hands-on training
  • Receive training in Digital Design/Simulation, Physical Design, Analog Design/Layout, Package Design, Systems Design, and Advanced Verification/Emulation
  • After successful completion, take on full-time regular responsibilities in a CST business group based on interests and company needs

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • New STEM Bachelor’s graduates
  • Bachelor’s degree only; the program is only for students graduating with a Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience using electronic design automation (EDA) tools
  • Limited experience with a strong desire to learn
  • Knowledge or training in fundamentals of design, verification, HDLs, synthesis and timing
  • Embedded software development and HW/SW codesign and co-verification
  • UNIX, C/C++, and scripting languages such as Perl, TCL, Python
  • Digital physical design and implementation
  • Sign-off for timing, IR drop, power analysis, and SI analysis
  • Custom and analog design
  • Ability to work in San Jose, CA, Austin, TX, Cary, NC, or Burlington, MA
