About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support the Program Manager in the day-to-day management of the Contract
  • Manage and maintain the Document Management System, including configuration management of the Contract
  • Own and manage Contract Change Proposals and Survey & Quotes
  • Develop and administer CDRL items
  • Manage subcontractors and suppliers
  • Manage insurance requirements with support from global risk management
  • Draft, guide, and recommend actions to the Program Manager and Business
  • Support the Business with new opportunities and contribute to continuous improvement activities
  • Address and resolve contractual issues and disputes
  • Manage contract interpretation, flow-down requirements, commercial risks, contractual requirements, and formal correspondence
  • Ensure quotations are generated in accordance with the Contract
  • Ensure CAE’s export control obligations are met

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum of 5 year’s experience in Contract Management
  • Demonstrated experience with the ASDEFCON, ideally in the acquisition and support environments
  • Sound experience in commercial management
  • Ability to proactively problem solve and implement practical solutions for the customer and the business
  • Proven track record in contract management within a matrix and project environment
  • Excellent communication, drafting, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Experience working in Objective (ideal)
  • Legal or business discipline qualification, or equivalent experience (ideal)
  • Must be eligible for SECRET (NV1) level Defence security clearance
  • Preferably already hold a current SECRET (NV1) clearance
