Key responsibilities & impact

Assume technical leadership for enterprise monitoring and observability initiatives
Establish governance frameworks, operational standards, and monitoring policies
Develop enterprise monitoring strategies and roadmaps aligned with business and technology objectives
Define monitoring scope, service health objectives, availability metrics, performance standards, and operational requirements
Lead design and implementation of monitoring solutions across infrastructure, cloud platforms, applications, databases, network services, and end-user technologies
Develop monitoring architecture standards, templates, dashboards, alerting policies, and operational runbooks
Optimize alert thresholds, event correlation, noise reduction, and root-cause-focused monitoring
Review incidents, service interruptions, monitoring events, and performance trends to drive corrective actions
Design and maintain executive and operational dashboards
Coordinate observability initiatives across business and technology teams
Integrate monitoring platforms with enterprise IT Service Management systems
Facilitate governance reviews and operational health assessments
Establish service-level indicators, operational baselines, and performance benchmarks
Conduct feasibility studies, technical evaluations, and solution assessments
Evaluate monitoring technologies, AIOps capabilities, automation opportunities, and observability platforms
Develop cost estimates, business cases, and return-on-investment analyses
Lead enterprise capacity planning using monitoring data and utilization trends
Facilitate monthly operational health and capacity review meetings
Serve as technical authority for platforms such as Dynatrace
Support major incident response with monitoring expertise and performance analysis
Drive continuous improvement in service reliability, monitoring effectiveness, governance, capacity forecasting, and observability maturity

Requirements

What you’ll need

6 to 8 years of experience in enterprise systems administration, application administration, infrastructure operations, monitoring platforms, or observability technologies
An additional 3 years of technical leadership, operational governance, capacity planning, systems design, or project leadership experience preferred
Demonstrated experience with enterprise monitoring platforms, operational analytics, service health reporting, capacity management, event management, and IT Service Management integrations highly desirable
Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent technical training and experience
