About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Act as a QA engineer contributing hands-on to the US Sportsbetting platform for Caesars Digital
- Deliver test cases validating functional and non-functional requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements, clarify specifications, and provide feedback on design and functionality
- Test iOS and Android mobile applications
- Analyze requirements and prepare comprehensive test plans and scenarios
- Execute functional and regression testing
- Log, assign, and track defects using designated defect tracking tools
- Communicate testing progress, issues, and resolutions to external and internal teams
- Sign off on new features and functionality after testing and validation
- Conduct exploratory testing
- Contribute to API/RESTful service testing
- Use AWS to enhance testing capabilities
- Apply Linux/Unix and GitLab CI/CD knowledge
- Collaborate with DevOps teams
- Conduct non-functional testing of performance, scalability, and security
- Create test strategies and validate testing plans and procedures
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Manual QA Engineer
- Experience testing web applications and mobile applications
- Experience with API/RESTful service testing
- Proficiency in Linux/Unix environments
- Familiarity with CI/CD processes, particularly in GitLab
- Experience with the AWS platform
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience working with or closely alongside DevOps teams is desirable
- Proficiency in non-functional testing is a plus
- Passion for sports, sports betting, online games, or casino games is a plus
