About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Cultivate and strengthen relationships within the A&D community in the assigned geography
- Develop and maintain relationships with national, regional, and custom home builders, developers, and general contractors
- Develop and implement sales strategies and programs to grow market share, increase product penetration, and achieve revenue goals
- Manage a portfolio of builder accounts and ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with builder partners, developers, and general contractors
- Collaborate with product development, marketing, and operations teams
- Develop sales forecasts, set performance goals, and track progress against targets
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of company products and advise customers on their application
- Report sales performance, market conditions, and customer feedback to the Regional Sales Director
- Provide training and product demonstrations to builder partners, developers, and general contractors
- Travel within the assigned territory for customer meetings, industry events, and regional sales initiatives
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field; relevant industry experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
- Minimum of 3-5 years of sales experience within the building industry, focused on regional custom home builders, multifamily and commercial projects
- Strong understanding of sales processes, market dynamics, and builder-segment needs
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with builder partners
- Ability to develop and execute sales strategies aligned with business objectives
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical abilities and data-driven decision-making capacity
- Ability to address and resolve customer issues effectively
- Ability to travel regionally up to 50% of the time
- Ability to attend and conduct presentations
- Manual dexterity to use a desktop computer and peripherals
- Ability to lift or move up to 10 lbs. as required
