About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Coordinate and manage the deliverables lifecycle from quotation stage through project completion
- Provide direction to Sales, Project Specialists, and Advanced Engineering
- Liaise with internal and external customers to clarify open issues
- Facilitate on-time completion of project timelines and deadlines
- Coordinate drawing reviews, specification reviews, and other requirements for project quotes and orders
- Manage technical requirements, design, and engineering for project sales opportunities
- Interface with sales, advanced engineering, project estimators, and CASs to streamline RFQs and orders
- Provide guidance on specifications, branding, and terms with internal departments, vendors, OEMs, and engineering firms
- Participate in inspections, outside testing requirements, and related documentation
- Support sales during quoting and order stages through project completion, including possible job site visits
Requirements
What you’ll need- B.S. Engineering or technical degree with relevant working experience
- Five (5) plus years of experience in refractory applications
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and Access
- CAD proficiency a plus
- PMP preferred
- Requires accurate close vision and the ability to focus
- Requires lifting up to 10 pounds less than 1/3 of time
- Requires more than 2/3 of time sitting, speaking/hearing; and less than 1/3 of time standing, walking, using hands and fingers, and/or reaching
- Requires more than 2/3 of time in an office setting
- Requires working in quiet conditions
