About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage and coordinate daily Supply Chain operations across planning, inventory, procurement, logistics, and customer order management
- Prepare operational and management reports, monitor KPIs, identify deviations and required actions, and report to plant management
- Coordinate monthly inventory closing and ensure accurate, timely reporting
- Monitor inventory levels, safety stocks, production strategy, lean production processes, and slow-moving or obsolete inventory
- Coordinate corrective actions and ensure timely order fulfilment
- Monitor lead times, material availability, and delivery risks
- Coordinate order priorities and resolve operational escalations with Customer Service, Sales, and Planning
- Coordinate raw material and indirect procurement activities, including purchase order review and material availability follow-up
- Coordinate daily activities with Warehouse, Shipping, and Logistics and support resolution of operational and transportation issues
- Lead and support the Supply Chain team, set priorities, manage resources, and ensure backup and knowledge sharing
- Coordinate with Customer Service, Production Planning, Sales, Procurement, Warehouse, Shipping, Finance, and other functions
- Drive resolution of cross-functional issues and ensure timely action follow-up
- Identify and implement Supply Chain process improvements
- Ensure compliance with internal processes and controls and support audits
- Ensure continuity of critical Supply Chain activities through backup, cross-training, and knowledge transfer
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Experience with SAP and ERP systems
- Strong knowledge of production planning processes
- Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience
- Fluency in German and English, written and spoken
- French language skills are an advantage
- Experience in logistics is desirable
- Proven ability to support and drive organizational change initiatives
- Strong focus on optimizing and improving production planning processes
- Ability to promote a change-oriented mindset and foster continuous improvement
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to lead, influence, and motivate teams through change
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across different functions and levels of the organization
