About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Meet or exceed quarterly sales quotas for the defined territory
- Maintain monthly and quarterly territory plans outlining sales objectives and vulnerabilities
- Provide monthly forecasts for the defined area
- Communicate Calyxo products’ value proposition to customers
- Qualify, train, assess, and develop accounts to drive adoption of Calyxo products in kidney stone practices
- Communicate market conditions and recommend commercial process improvements
- Partner with Professional Education to deliver clinical and training support
- Build and maintain relationships with key customers and key opinion leaders
- Collaborate with Regional Sales, Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, and Finance teams
- Complete and submit required sales reporting forms on time
- Support resolution of product complaints and safety issues
- Follow organizational policies, Good Manufacturing Practices, FDA regulations, Customer Relationship policies, and Sunshine Act policies
- Maintain a professional image with physicians, consultants, suppliers, and teammates
- Maintain credentials required to enter hospitals and medical facilities
- Manage travel and expenses within the approved budget
- Perform other assigned duties and contribute to a collaborative, ethical, efficient, high-achieving culture
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of outside sales/sales management experience; medical device experience preferred
- Strong track record of over-delivering revenue versus sales plan
- Proficiency navigating and accelerating hospital and ASC product approval processes
- Operating room experience required
- Thorough knowledge of urology and urology products; strong relationships with local urologists highly desired
- Successful track record launching new and disruptive technologies
- Proficiency in complex reimbursement environments
- Understanding of the treatment algorithm for patients with kidney stones preferred
- Compliance with relevant vaccination county, state, and federal rules
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
- Ability to establish and maintain facility credentials via RepTrax, Vendormate, or similar systems
- Comfortable with frequent travel
- Experience conducting product demonstrations
- Ability to generate new sales leads regularly
- Ability to track sales and communicate effectively with team members in the field
