About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Create and modify simple and complex graphics and line-art illustrations for online and paper tests
  • Support desktop publishing for paper-and-pencil tests, ancillary documents, and proposals
  • Assist the production team in creating assessment materials for educational testing programs

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design or related field
  • Working knowledge and 0–2 years of professional experience using Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign
  • Experience creating scientific technical illustrations or mathematical graphics is a plus
  • Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat Professional, Adobe Photoshop, and Microsoft Word
  • Comfortable working on both PC and Mac platforms
  • Experience and clear understanding of file preparation for print and online production
  • Reliable, organized, highly motivated, with strong communication skills
  • Detail-oriented, excellent time management, analytical thinker/problem solver, quick learner, and able to remain focused in a fast-paced environment
  • Must provide work samples or portfolio access
  • Selected candidates must complete an illustration task using Adobe Illustrator
  • Must work and reside within the United States
  • Reliable cable or fiber-optic broadband internet connection with minimum speeds of 10 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload when working remotely
  • Ability to participate in video-based interviews and ongoing virtual meetings with camera on
  • Note-taking tools, reference materials, and AI-powered tools are prohibited during interviews or selection activities unless prior written approval is obtained
