About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support Item Development Managers in project and client management
- Oversee test development activities for assigned projects
- Serve as the primary project contact for clients and internal teams with manager or director assistance
- Communicate with clients to ensure project scope and schedules are followed throughout test development
- Coordinate with internal teams, especially content teams, on project scope and schedules
- Communicate project schedules and deliverables to clients and provide decision-support information
- Recognize and escalate project issues and help develop solutions
- Collaborate with clients and project management on annual development schedules and scopes of work
- Enforce agreed-upon schedules and scopes of work
- Support item development plan creation for all content areas
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field + 5-8 years’ experience, or a Master’s degree + 1-4 years’ experience
- Strong knowledge and experience with U.S. Education and Education Assessment
- 2-3 years of client management/interaction experience
- Analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to identify problems and conceptualize solutions
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Ability to multi-task
- Skilled at collaboration
- Required travel of 1 week to 8 weeks per year
- Ability to travel 2-5 days at a time
- Must reside and work in the United States
- Reliable cable or fiber-optic broadband internet connection with minimum speeds of 10 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload
- Ability to actively participate in video-based interviews and ongoing virtual meetings with camera on
- Note-taking tools, reference materials, and AI-powered tools are prohibited during interviews or other selection activities unless prior written approval is obtained
