About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Analyze, design, develop, and maintain systems according to business area needs.
Gather and document requirements with users, translating requests into technical solutions.
Develop and enhance applications in C#/.NET, with front-end development in Angular and JavaScript.
Create and maintain APIs and integrations between internal systems and partners.
Create, optimize, and maintain queries, stored procedures, and views in SQL Server.
Identify and resolve issues in production systems, ensuring stability and performance.
Provide support and maintenance for Python automations and PHP portals (WordPress and Laravel).
Participate in all stages of the development lifecycle, from analysis through deployment and support.
Perform testing to ensure the quality of deliverables.
Document systems, processes, and procedures to facilitate maintenance.
Work with version control (Git/Azure) and application lifecycle management tools.
Work with agile methodologies as part of the team’s daily activities, using delivery-tracking tools such as Bitrix, Trello, and Planner.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
Experience as a Systems Analyst, Developer, or in a similar role.
Solid experience with C#/.NET.
Experience with Angular and JavaScript.
Strong knowledge of SQL Server, including data modeling and query development and optimization.
Experience developing and consuming REST APIs.
Experience with Git and ALM tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar platforms).
Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
Preferred: experience with systems used by insurance companies, insurance brokers, or healthcare providers.
Preferred: knowledge of Python for process automation.
Preferred: experience with PHP, WordPress, and Laravel.
Preferred: experience creating reports and dashboards in Power BI.
Preferred: knowledge of Brazil’s General Data Protection Law (LGPD) as applied to systems development.
Preferred: technical English proficiency for reading documentation.
