About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Ensure coaches build strong, meaningful relationships with students
- Lead weekly team meetings and pipeline sessions to identify retention strategies and focus areas
- Use retention, attendance, and student NPS KPIs to track performance and ensure goals are met
- Support coaches in addressing challenges and improving outcomes
- Monitor and support daily calls, emails, and texts for effective, timely student engagement
- Conduct call monitoring and provide feedback to improve outreach and coaching skills
- Manage a small student caseload and provide direct support
- Partner with leadership and stakeholders on updates, initiatives, and organizational priorities
- Manage escalated student concerns when needed
- Use data insights to identify growth areas, implement initiatives, and improve the student success program
- Apply teaching or instructional experience to coach the team, modeling clear communication, accountability, and student-centered practices
Requirements
What you’ll need- 4+ years of experience in customer service, education, student support, or coaching/mentoring programs
- 3+ years of leadership experience, with a proven ability to manage and develop teams
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with both students and staff
- Data-driven mindset with experience using metrics to track performance and guide decisions
- Passion for coaching, mentoring, and helping others succeed
- Prior teaching experience or experience in the education sector or a mission-driven organization is nice to have
- Must already be authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring new H-1B sponsorship
- Must be able to be onsite in Austin, Texas Tuesday–Thursday
