About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Greet customers and discuss the type, quality and quantity of merchandise or services required
Maintain a high level of product and service knowledge
Replace used stock, rotate current stock and ensure satisfactory inventory levels
Participate in merchandising and promotional activities for accessories
Uphold established store-condition standards
Adapt communication style to deliver information effectively to a range of individuals
Maintain professionalism, tact, diplomacy and sensitivity
Attempt to calm irate customers and resolve issues
Take customer orders and prepare products for purchase
Ensure customer satisfaction with issue resolution and the resolution process
Assist with merchandise displays and inventory management
Ensure accuracy in transactions, inventory and procedures
Participate in store maintenance
Work with management and employees to maximize store sales and in-store presence
Answer and transfer external and internal phone calls
Ensure compliance with health, safety and security regulations
Abide by company policies and procedures
Work any shift depending on store operations

Requirements

What you’ll need

Must provide a copy of completed Cannabis Retail Certification - CannSell License
Must provide a copy of clean Criminal Background Check prior to start date
Minimum 2-3 years of retail experience in sales and customer service required
A valid First Aid certification is considered an asset
Knowledge of and passion for cannabis and accessories
Must be available for shift work according to business needs, Monday to Sunday
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Team player mentality
Ability to compute basic mathematical problems
Attention to detail
Desire to educate customers and the community about cannabis benefits without giving medical advice
Ability to work nights, holidays, weekends and different locations
