About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Greet customers and discuss the type, quality, and quantity of merchandise or services required.
- Maintain a high level of product and service knowledge.
- Replace used stock, rotate current stock, and ensure satisfactory inventory levels.
- Participate in merchandising and promotional activities for accessories.
- Ensure store conditions are consistently upheld to established standards.
- Adapt communication style to deliver information effectively to a range of individuals.
- Maintain professionalism, tact, diplomacy, and sensitivity to portray the company positively.
- Attempt to calm irate customers by explaining situations and resolving issues.
- Take customer orders and prepare products for purchase.
- Ensure customer satisfaction with issue resolution and the resolution process.
- Assist with merchandise displays and inventory management.
- Ensure accuracy in transactions, inventory, and procedures.
- Participate in store maintenance.
- Work with management and other employees to maximize store sales and in-store presence.
- Answer external and internal phone calls and transfer calls appropriately.
- Adhere to health, safety, security regulations, company policies, and procedures.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must provide a copy of completed Cannabis Retail Certification - CannSell License.
- Must provide a copy of clean Criminal Background Check prior to start date.
- Minimum 2-3 years of Retail Experience in sales and customer service required.
- A valid First Aid certification is considered an asset.
- Must have knowledge of and passion for cannabis and accessories.
- Must be available for shift work according to business needs, Monday to Sunday.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Team player mentality.
- Ability to compute basic mathematical problems.
- Attention to detail.
- Desire to educate customers and the community about the benefits associated with cannabis use without giving medical advice.
- Ability to work nights, holidays and weekends and different locations.
- Available to work any shift depending on Store Operation.
