About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Greet customers and discuss merchandise or services required
- Maintain product and service knowledge
- Replace used stock, rotate current stock and ensure satisfactory inventory levels
- Participate in merchandising and promotional activities for accessories
- Maintain store conditions to established standards
- Adapt communication style to deliver information effectively
- Maintain professionalism, tact, diplomacy and sensitivity
- Calm irate customers, explain situations and resolve issues
- Take customer orders and prepare products for purchase
- Ensure customer satisfaction with issue resolution and process
- Assist with merchandise displays and inventory management
- Ensure accuracy in transactions, inventory and procedures
- Participate in store maintenance
- Work with management and employees to maximize store sales and in-store presence
- Answer and transfer external and internal phone calls
- Adhere to health, safety and security regulations
- Follow company policies and procedures
- Be available for any shift depending on store operations
Requirements
What you’ll need- Must provide a copy of completed Cannabis Retail Certification - CannSell License
- Must provide a copy of clean Criminal Background Check prior to start date
- Minimum 2-3 years of Retail Experience in sales and customer service required
- A valid First Aid certification is considered an asset
- Knowledge of and passion for cannabis and accessories
- Available for shift work according to business needs, Monday to Sunday
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Team player mentality
- Ability to compute basic mathematical problems
- Attention to detail
- Desire to educate customers and the community about cannabis benefits without giving medical advice
- Ability to work nights, holidays, weekends and different locations
