About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Recruit, coach, and train top talent
Ensure the team educates and informs customers
Deliver a knowledgeable, genuine, and exceptional customer experience
Maintain an inviting, spotless, and well-merchandised store
Provide staff training and development as the resident product expert
Create a welcoming environment and engage with local communities
Use problem-solving and collaboration to achieve business objectives
Develop and implement processes and procedures
Oversee inventory
Provide feedback on product trends and customer needs
Maintain corporate visual merchandising standards
Assist with audits and SLGA requirements

Requirements

What you’ll need

Must already have, or be able to quickly obtain, Smart Choices certification
Must provide a copy of clean Criminal Background Check prior to start date
At least 1–2 years’ retail supervisory experience
Valid First Aid certification is considered an asset
Experience working with similar brands/products is an asset
Ability to work nights, holidays, weekends, and different locations
Ability to work any shift based on business needs, Monday to Sunday
Ability to develop and train staff through positive coaching and feedback
Strong organization and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Passion for customer service excellence
MS Office Suite
POS expertise
Post-secondary education in a related field
Demonstrated abilities in visual planning and merchandising
