About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Manage the daily operations and profitability of the establishment according to set goals and business objectives.
Greet and assist customers while modeling exemplary conduct.
Address customer complaints professionally and provide positive resolutions.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and security regulations.
Manage inventory, take scheduled inventories, and provide inventory reports.
Increase sales, expand markets, and promote the business within provided guidelines.
Verify invoices, track expenditures, and make purchasing decisions involving volume-based discounts.
Maintain neat merchandise presentation and accurate pricing.
Provide sales, staff, and productivity reports to management.
Hold staff accountable for cash box deficits.
Balance sales, record receipts, track daily revenue, make bank deposits, and reconcile bank statements.
Coordinate and execute ordering and receiving of cannabis and accessories.
Supervise all staff and coordinate work to ensure productive operations.
Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Must have CannaSell Certification.
Minimum of 2 years work experience in the retail industry.
Minimum of 1 year of work experience in a supervisory role in a retail environment.
A valid First Aid certification is considered an asset.
Management experience preferred.
Proven excellent customer service skills.
Excellent time management and prioritizing skills.
Demonstrated ability to train and motivate staff.
Skills to monitor and assess staff performance.
Basic office administration skills.
High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office productivity suite.
Highly effective teamwork skills.
Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
Strong customer service and troubleshooting skills.
Politically and culturally sensitive.
Able to plan and organize work effectively and ensure its completion.
A well-defined sense of diplomacy, including solid negotiation, conflict resolution, and people management skills.
Ability to learn and adapt to sales software quickly.
