About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support sourcing, pursuing, winning, and delivering work through Cityfi prime work or integrated pursuits across consulting and CannonDesign
  • Build capacity and drive the establishment, definition, and growth of the Cityfi brand and team
  • Serve as a member of CannonDesign consulting platform’s leadership team
  • Secure and deliver work aligned with Cityfi’s ambitions
  • Identify market opportunities across consulting brands and create a sustainable plan for Cityfi US, Canada, and EU
  • Define investment, develop business planning materials and pro-forma, and manage toward 10% year-over-year growth in NSF and revenue while achieving at least 25% profitability
  • Refine the Cityfi growth strategy in response to market opportunities and challenges
  • Establish the operating platform for successful client delivery across consulting services
  • Monitor, report, and facilitate achievement of growth KPIs
  • Recruit and develop talent to scale the network and opportunities
  • Apply Living-Centered Design principles with multidisciplinary teams to create user-centered solutions
  • Build and nurture long-term client and internal partner relationships
  • Embed human-centered strategies reflecting community, social, operational, and financial impact
  • Deploy technical skills on relevant projects and mentor project teams
  • Win and lead complex civic innovation, transit, and mobility projects
  • Achieve growth in active opportunities, $3M in subsequent-year Net Signed Fee, 10% year-over-year Cityfi revenue and profit growth, and 50% direct utilization on billable Cityfi projects

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Proven history of successful leadership roles in private and public sectors, including strong reputation in mobility and civic innovation
  • Experience in top tier consulting, planning, operations, or development
  • Experience managing talent development functions, including building teams and developing talent pipelines
  • Experience developing a global multi-disciplinary consulting practice, including operational integration across many branded services
  • Public and private-sector advisory experience in business strategy, experience, planning, placemaking, mobility, and urban planning
  • Ability to manage multiple corporate priorities and several client projects while growing a new service line across a broad geographic area
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Master’s or advanced degree preferred
  • Technical skills on relevant projects
  • Resume and portfolio required when applying
