Key responsibilities & impact
  • Drive analysis for meaningful business transformation, delivering operational improvement and increased efficiency
  • Facilitate workshops and engage stakeholders to uncover needs, map current processes, identify pain points and opportunities
  • Challenge thinking and assumptions to establish clarity and influence direction
  • Translate strategic vision and goals into actionable requirements and user stories
  • Collaborate with Change, Technology, Data and Business Architecture colleagues to design business solutions and robust processes
  • Provide data and insight for business cases, options analysis and recommendations
  • Support change from ideation through delivery as a trusted delivery partner and bridge between business and development teams
  • Contribute to change readiness, training materials and adoption activities
  • Measure success and business benefits of delivered solutions
  • Champion efficient business analysis and continuously improve capabilities and ways of working
  • Perform other ad hoc duties as required

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Experience as a Business Analyst in the insurance market (preferable) or comparable general insurance/financial services environment
  • Proficiency in requirements elicitation and creation of associated analysis artefacts
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build effective stakeholder relationships
  • Ability to challenge, negotiate and influence to achieve the best business outcomes
  • Business Analysis skills including analytical and critical thinking, problem solving, attention to detail and prioritisation
  • Experience of successful project/programme delivery in a fast-paced Agile, waterfall or hybrid environment
  • Ability to use initiative and take ownership for successful completion of analysis activities
  • International Institute of Business Analysis qualification or proven equivalent experience
