About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Adjust cyber insurance claims within the assigned authority level and in accordance with Canopius claims policies, vision and obligations
- Ensure excellent service to customers and stakeholders
- Maintain sufficient financial provisions for all handled claims in accordance with Canopius reserving philosophy
- Instruct and oversee lawyers, adjusters and experts from the Canopius panel
- Assist with oversight of delegated claims authority holders, service providers and outsource partners
- Develop understanding of underwriting and claims within the Cyber portfolio, including policy language and coverage issues
- Develop and maintain relationships with key brokers, external vendors, coverholders and insureds
- Support and collaborate with the global cyber team
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience in cyber insurance or similar fields is preferred
- Proven track record of effective management of cyber claims
- Knowledge of key issues affecting the cyber insurance market
- Coverholder management and oversight
- Knowledge of Lloyd’s claims scheme and related claims handling systems
- Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills
- Ability to represent Canopius professionally
- Computer literacy in standard business software, including MS Excel, MS Word and MS Outlook
- Eagerness to learn and develop new skills in cyber insurance
- Act with honesty, integrity and fairness at all times
- Customer-focused approach and commitment to high-quality service delivery
